Laxmi’s debut Manchaha is named after her dear daughter, “Priyanshu”. Worried about her first Manchaha, Laxmi could not figure out where to start. She was anxious about making a bad design or committing silly mistakes. This is when her daughter came out as the savior, showing various designs to her. Priyanshu collected various motifs that her mother can weave from her textbooks or flyers in local shops. The carpet is knotted with a matrix design, inspired by a design in Priyanshu’s textbook.
